During a recent road trip, my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at a charming historic inn in the Dayton area. the location provided plenty of parking and a vibrant atmosphere. We were delighted by the unique room decor, featuring antique furniture and pictures of past presidents. the modern bathroom was a pleasant surprise.

The lack of an elevator at the inn could be challenging with mobility issues.

Great meals. Hotel was situated not far from tourist destinations like glendower historic mansion.

Great spot for a city getaway in the area, super close to the Breakfast Club Cafe.

The hotel provided great value for money. the festive atmosphere of the room was perfect for my city break. the local area offered plenty of options to keep me entertained.

The hotel could do with updating some of its facilities. the entrance was a bit tricky to find when I first arrived.

The hotel's attention to detail is truly remarkable, transporting guests back in time with its antique setting and themed rooms, just like the Charles Dickens room mentioned in one of the reviews. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. The high-speed WiFi, a surprise discovery as highlighted in another review, is definitely a great added bonus for guests.

Fun to explore for ghost sightings. Gift shop with great home decor pieces. Locally-made soaps and lotions in guest rooms.

Limited accessibility options, with no elevator. Alleged hauntings may make it difficult to sleep for some guests.

The Golden Lamb is a truly special place to stay with its rich historical atmosphere. The hotel is like a living museum, filled with artifacts and displays that transport you to a different era. The attention to detail is exceptional, with each room offering a unique experience. I especially loved the Dickens room with its impressive 10-foot-tall headboard and balcony overlooking the street. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making our anniversary weekend unforgettable. The location in the Dayton area is perfect, surrounded by charming shops and restaurants.
